We made it through! Now that the dust has settled it is time to look back at the summer and smile. Copper Cannon changed the lives of hundreds of children this summer. We laughed until milk came out our noses. We fell asleep before the first two pages were read to us. We choked up as everyone departed and did the good old “stretch” gliding an arm over that elusive tear. Most importantly, we made friendships which will last a lifetime and made a difference. The new dining hall created a relaxed eating environment, the basement protected campers from the sudden downpours and the porch gave spectacular views. Roscoe still goes down to the pond for a drink and quick swim! All we can say is…thanks for making the summer so great and see you next year.
