We must extend a belated congratulations to Rhys Williams, and his proud parents Paula and Adrian, on his fantastic achievements in show junping this Summer. Rhys was selected for the U 12 Irish team, and played an important role in securing the International Grand Prix in Ireland, with his 3 clear rounds on a zero score! In August, in the RDS at the Dublin Horse Show, Rhys won the 128 cm U def 12s competition. He was the youngest in the country to jump and was so good that he was nicknamed The Speed Merchant, while he was competing!! Well done Rhys on such a fantastic achievement at such a young age. Rhys is such a humble winner, who trained very hard both before and after school and deserved every reward and success for all his efforts. Its hard to believe the wealth of talent Rhys has for his age! Watch this space!!
