We on earth have a lot of awakening to do and no one can do it but ourselves. Earth is a mill for grinding illusions down. Were all here to experience our illusions, until we decide to wake up. Then we see the Life behind the world. We become free and mature beings. Perhaps you want everyone to be a buddha, you want to see everyone smiling and getting along, but people dont want it. People on earth cling to their delusions and hate. They say they want to be free but this is just talk. They are tossing in their sleep, grinding their teeth and lashing out without knowing who they injure. Poets, priests and politicians cannot fix this. But there is a way. The more you look to collective solutions, the more lost you become. Life is individual. Individuals can come together and awaken together, but unconscious minds, however much they herd together, cannot change anything. They create mass movements but they do not transform souls. Only the soul, consciousness, has power. That power is truth. One awakened soul can send a ripple of truth-consciousness into other minds and stimulate awakening. But the ripple, the seed, the offering, will always fail to reach some. They do not want to know, and life has deemed it that they are free to continue not knowing. You may cry and pray all you wish for the world, or you can laugh and begin teaching. When you teach, you will see how powerless you are to change others. When you say you want to change the world, it means you want to change others. And you cannot. So you have to learn humility.
