We performed our American Songbook programme, complete with lighting design and microphones, for the first time in the UK on Saturday night. Readings Town Hall Arts Centre is a favourite venue for us, and the audience didnt disappoint. More to come in the UK, we hope. Tonight we fly to Adelaide, via Hong Kong - which means consecutive nights on aeroplanes! This is a first for some of us and itll be interesting to see how we feel when we land, early on Wednesday morning. Thankfully we have a few rest and media days before the first concert of the tour, on Friday evening. Were really looking forward to visiting the Antipodes again, and introducing our new repertoire.
