We played at the 19th Hole today. Whenever/wherever we play - we have a good time. Often there are sweet little surprises - like expressions of appreciation, or a nice tip. Today, there was a beautiful little boy in a high chair - and every time he heard the cello, he turned completely around to watch me play. Finally, he tried to get out of his chair to come over. After a while, his mother brought him to us. He stood there sweetly staring and looking at Doug, then me. I reached out and put a tiny kiss on the end of his nose. He gave me a little smile - and just continued to watch with the most adorable expressions. There were other children there who came up, and sang a carol or 2 with us - shook some jingle bells, and shyly grinned as they sang. I have to say that if we only played for 5 or 6 kids each time (or 1) - I would be satisfied. Their interest and joy in sharing music is so direct, it touches my heart. Right there
