We serve such an amazing God dont we! Families in need is going into its 3rd year with Elkville Christian Church in Elkville, Illinois. We couldnt be more happy with its progress. It all started out with a mission to help a dear friend and church family member and has turned into a mission of support for all of our church family and all surrounding local communities. Families In Need is a small organization outreach, set up to benefit those who are suffering a sudden emergency or sudden and tragic loss. In the midst of tragedy it is hard to think about what you might need. Our donation is set up to take a small edge off the financial burden that each family faces during these traumatic times. To date Families In Need Organization has been able to help 15 Families and has given out over $11,000 to families who have suffered a variety of things such as house fires and sudden illnesses and sudden family loss. Each year we have a spring fundraiser and our fall 5k event to fund our mission with the Pocket Full of Love 5k event being our main source of funding. We have been blessed to have two years now with great races with amazing turnouts. It could not have been done without the wonderful sponsors within our local communities and the love that they share for people in need. We are believing in another successful race to be able to replenish our funds to help more families in need! Thank You for your support!
