We should be very careful not to mistake racism with prejudice. If someone does not like you because they are biased on how you look, that is prejudice because they have no power to have an affect on your livelihood . But when someone strips you of your basic fundamental human rights, judicially and economically, that is racism because they have the power to send you and your generation to the state of abyss. A great scholar once said that racism is the greatest terrorism that you can ever inflict on a human being because it does not relieve the person from immediate misery; the misery continues for many many generations to come due to inequality and disenfranchisement.
