We specialise in doing CRAZY weeks at Rumginae. Take next week for instance: John and Jo Oakley with Heather and her husband Sam arrive tomorrow; Luke and Catherine Newell may or may not arrive on Monday back from holidays and then go to Kawito to complete the Middle and South Fly checking in; Clyde and Johanna Smith may or may not arrive on Monday or Tuesday; The Bischoff family leave for their Home Assignment on Tuesday; the RMOs Alben Yamba and John Tate leave on Thursday; Geoff Banner arrives on Thursday; Jennifer Allen (short term doc) arrives on Friday; and the Newells may be back on Friday. In addition to this World TB Day on Monday (along with Ward rounds and John Oakleys welcome back to Rumginae medicine!) Put that on a backdrop of a tired constant factor (actually I will be going to Kiunga for a meeting Wed, but that doesnt count), who has a whole night of sleep to catch up on from Thu night, you do wonder what God is trying to do. Times like these I have to BELIEVE more than anything else that God DOES KNOW what He is doing and even when I feel like Hes surely got it all wrong, in His economy the pieces always fit. Please pray for special grace and strength for myself and all of us.
