We spent a very hot Sunday today. We arrive at the church at 10:00 to find out that the main breaker to the electricity had broke and there was no electricity. All the doors and windows were open and Branch 1 was already in session. We went upstairs for Branch Counsel meeting in a very hot room, no air conditioning. When we started branch 2 Sacrament Meeting with no organ, microphone or lights we moved over by the side door to try and get some air. Luckily there was a little breeze and once in a while we got relief. After Sacrament Meeting we ran home to get my fan and ate a quick lunch before going back to Branch 3 where we sat by the door again and with a bottle of ice water, my fan, and a little breeze from outside we made it through meeting. The first speaker gave her talk and then walked out the door and went home. We werent sure if they would stay for the next two meetings but they did. Last week they put in a new Primary President and counselor but neither one showed up so we took the little girls upstairs and had primary. The two older girls havent been to church for several months but we were glad to have them today. We sang lots of songs with my IPad and then found some stories in the Childrens Friend that we just got at church and then colored and made it through until 5:00. The kids were really good and has fun coloring some pages I had in my bag. When we got home I checked the temp and it was 88 degrees felt like 94 and that was at 5:30. Sure glad we came home to a cool house!!
