We still have some pretty good lake effect rain and graupel going on in Northern & Central Erie County including the city of Buffalo as well as in Genesee County including Corfu, Oakfield and Batavia. Some streets do have ponding of water and clogged storm drains so please caution while driving. Elsewhere skies are partly sunny to mostly cloudy. Temperatures due to the lake clouds and rain and have been held down with readings in the 40s to near 50 for most locations. The combination of cold air plus damp air makes it feel even colder especially with any breeze going on causing a wind chill. With the lake clouds and rain right over the Buffalo Airport the visibility has been knocked down significantly for both driving and flying in this type of weather. Locations north and south of the lake band are where visibilities are just fine.
