We the Lakshadweep Territorial Congress Committee Mainland wing is decided to conduct a protest march to the Lakshadweep Administration office against the decision of anti people policy of Lakshadweep Administration on 26th August 2014 by 10 am. Our protest is mainly demanding 1. Food cost hike of the passenger ship operating to Lakshadweep Islands 2. Cost hike on the ship cargo transport 3. Cost hike on the state guest house at Cochin 4. Amendment on the entry permits regulation 5. Proposed Electricity Charge hike 6. Calicut and Mangalore Guest house to be completed within the stipulated time frame 7 expedited process of construction .Burial ground at Cochin It is to inform that this is a token protest strike for withdrawing the prize hike orders. If Administration not withdrawn orders issued in connection with the above matters the strike will be intensified in due course. There for we demand that the above issue may be settled at the earliest, hence it is hear by informed that the protest march will be conducted on 26th August 2014 by 10 AM to the Lakshadweep Administration Office Willington Island Cochin.
