We took a very scenic drive today in the mountains. Started in Cortez, drove north to Telluride and continued to Ridgway where we turned south to Ouray. From Ouray we drove along and around narrow mountain roads to Silverton. Couldnt drive very fast as it would have been a long way down if we missed a turn on the narrow winding road. After Silverton, we made our way down the mountain to Durango and back to Cortez. With the fall colors it was a very beautiful and scenic drive even though it was a little scary at times.
