We took to the streets of Benin City today to register our protest on the abduction of 234 innocent girls from the Government Secondary School in the town of Chibok in Borno State. The Government has failed woefully in addressing the menace of inseurity in Nigeria inspite of the billions of naira they collect as security vote. A government that cannot guarantee the security of its people has no moral obligation to continue to exist. To this end, The government must ensure that the kidnapped students are released to their parents and guidance unhurt. It is the students of Government Secondary School, Chibok today , It can be anybody tomorrow. We say caboodle rejectamenta to kidnapping of innocent chilren. Evil thrives when good men are silent on issues that matters. Our lives begin to end, the day we become silent on things that matter. An injury to one is an injury to all. Join in the struggle to bring back our girls from the ferocious enemies of the people.
