We visited a lovely Church this morning. Bethel Baptist, the message the youth had was great. It was simple- the scene was set with a young couple on a date in a restraunt. The young man couldnt talk to his date, nor could they order their dinner for a bombardment of phone calls that the young lady refused to ignore. Finally, the young man gives up, pays the waitress and leaves. The young lady is sitting there pondering in disappointment as to where all the good ones have gone. Where are the ones willing to stick with you. Someone to be committed..The message itself was how often do we not pay attention to others because we are too worried about things that do not matter. Maybe we allow things interfere and then we are disappointed with the outcome with no one to blame but yourself.... Andys message this morning hit on the notes of service... You....didnt get saved to do nothing, you didnt get saved to suck up oxygen on Sundays- ya got saved to serve....... If your serving, know God will be with you through all the hard times... .... So that was a re-affirming moment for me. In the past 2 months I have kept seeing this Facebook post that says it aint over til God says it is so get your fire back This morning there was one that said my failures may have amused you, but my come back is going to confuse you and a friend posted a verse from Psalms on restoration... Me and God had a meeting on the porch this morning.... We ( yes, me and God) wrote a chapter this morning...I guess its safe to say, healing time is over, let the writing begin... ;) So heres whats up. I am going to continue writing, some things may not make it to a book, some things may find its way to Facebook like it has in the past for the same reasons...to get feedback. Your feedback, wisdom and or questions are appriciated and welcome. If you dont want to chime in publicly, send me a message. This may be an opertunity for both of us to grow... :) :) . just pray for me to have decernment and encourage me to keep moving forward. One.other thing, there will be a new page created soon.
