We were all ready for a quiet evening in - all that was left to do was to take the dog out for a walk. However, we had gone no further than next doors driveway when Amy spies a sick-looking cat and decides that said feline needs to be taken to a vet as a matter of urgency. The cat, while clearly in a bad state, has just enough energy to scratch and bite in order to prevent capture and transportation in the cat box. So, after dropping the cat at Goddards clinic (who took him in with only a mild attempt to charge us) it was off to A&E for two hours so that Amy could get a tetanus injection and some antibiotics. Things seldom go to plan when you are married. Especially when you are married to a crazy person.
