We were contacted by a young mother that has three children that has left a bad situation and has finally gotten on her own. We have used the rest of our funds leftover from Sunday sales to get her children set up clothes, school supplies, and shoes for back to school but we are hoping that some of our lovely ladies to help out when it comes to food. This family has literally nothing. It makes you realize how much you take for granted day to day when you realize how much some people truly do struggle in this country.We have her an appointment with dhs next Tuesday and she doesnt have a current electric bill so she wasnt able to get help at our local places but they said she could come back once she did. So we are reaching out to all our lovely ladies in hopes that maybe yall have some food to spare or bathroom necessities like shampoo, toilet paper, etc. our main focus right now though is getting this family some food so they can make it to next Tuesday. Ive ran through every resource and Im hoping god will bless this family with some great people off this site that will help. I will be picking up any donations after I get off work tomorrow and for the next couple days to take to them. All the kids are school age so there are no limitations to food.
