We were out and about yesterday and today with sheaves of World - TopicsExpress

We were out and about yesterday and today with sheaves of World Tree Walks & Talks flyers and posters. Our whistle-stop tour of north Norfolk went from Burnham Deepdale to Binham and beyond, in search of appropriate venues and notice boards to leave information about World Trees archaeological and art/archaeology performance walks this summer and autumn. We covered a lot of miles and are tired this evening, but how lucky we are in Norfolk to have such amazing places as South Creake, the Burnhams, Cley, Salthouse, Cromer, Binham and the Walsinghams! Our one gripe is that tearooms all seem to close so early and we found ourselves too late to stop anywhere for the coffee and cake wed promised ourselves. But Byfords in Holt came to the rescue and we enjoyed a takeaway coffee and sweet treats on the village green at Hunworth. We think weve created a reasonably comprehensive presence now, so it will be interesting to see what response we get. Is there a curiosity about Norfolks hidden past? Do people have an urge to experience a glimpse of what our ancestors felt, saw, heard, smelled, tasted?
