We would like to introduce you to our sweet babies. We had an amazing anatomy scan today at 20weeks3days. Every single organ on every precious baby looks amazing!!! Dandy-walker syndrome is not present and I was reassured that it would have shown by now. Praise The Lord!!! Baby A-Evan Patrick He has been named since Erik and I were in college. Patrick is to honor both of our fathers and my grandfather. He is 14oz! He is a rascal and the hardest to scan. He gave the tech a workout!!! He is head down on my bladder. He was video taped kicking sweet Charlotte multiple times today. She kicked him back. I told them that a Santa is watching. Im crazy about him. Baby B-Charlotte Ann Charlotte has been on my girl list since I fell madly in love with the heroic spider in Charlottes Web while reading the book every year to my second graders. We will call her Lottie a lot because we think it is the cutest nickname. Lottie and Lyddie...aww Ann is to honor my grandmother and mother, and it is my middle name as well. Charlotte is 13oz and keeps her legs tightly closed. She is a modest babe. Her head is up under the right side of my ribs. Im crazy about her. Baby C-Luke Gerard Luke aka Big Lukey, has been on our list for a little over a year. We just love that name!! St. Gerard is the patron saint of expectant mothers and has always been a saint whom I pray to for intercession. Erik also chose Gerard as his confirmation name when he entered the Catholic Church almost 2 years ago. Luke has the penthouse and likes to spread out. He especially likes to show off his man parts. He kicks me the most and is 15oz! His head is right up under the left side of my ribs. Im crazy about him. We are excited to call them by their names, instead of A, B, and C. I asked for my cervix to be measured because I see so many triplet moms talking cervical lengths. My docs dont believe in it because research shows that bed rest and cerclages dont work for multiples. After being measured, I was told that my cervix is a steel trap( some women may be interested;) measuring over 4.5cm and that pre term labor is not on my radar. He said I was made for this. No restrictions for me but I will try to take it easy...after Christmas. We are so in love, in awe and relieved!!!!!! We hugged each other and cried tears of relief after the appointment. Its a stressful and beautiful time. Merry Christmas!
