Week 15 of the GoodFellas Fantasy Football Report Two good semi-final matchups have concluded and we are left with Admiral Ackbar (Earl) vs. Them Damn Playoffs (Cliff) for the finals. Lets recap the semifinals. Them Damn Playoffs (10-5) 101, TERRY TATE OFFICE LINEBACKER 85 Manning vs Rodgers didnt live up to their billing as both QBs turned in subpar performances. For Theon, he got his usual solid performances from Murray and Jeffrey, but Julius Thomas didnt show up and starting Moncrief turned out to be a bad play. For Cliff, having Dez Bryant go off made all the difference, and Marques Colston getting a few points helped seal the deal. Admiral Ackbar (10-4) 88, CREAM TEAM (10-5) 81 Earl seems to be Thads nemesis as he is 3-0 against Thad in two years in the league and he bookended Thads 7 game streak with losses. For Earl, he turned in another solid performance. He seems to avoid negative points and gets contributions from everyone. KC D and Demaryius stepped it up and got the needed points. Thad started with an unfortunate break as Julio Jones was unavailable after having a monster game the night before. Underwhelming performances on Monday night sealed his fate, as Jimmy Graham never got into the groove that was expected when Thad acquired him and shaky QB play. Thad ended the season going 1-3 against the final four competitors. Championship matchup Admiral Ackbar vs. Them Damn Playoffs Earl aka the streak killer gets his hands on another streaking team, this one being Cliff. Can Rodgers bounce back and get him some needed points? Can he continue to ride CJ Anderson to the promise land? Can Earl continue to get enough solid performances to get his hands on the championship? Good luck to the finalists!
