Week 2 Consecration and prayer Let us pray according to Psalm 18:16-35 Imagine the difference between God and your Enemy(ies). God rescues, enemy devours V. 16-17;God supports, enemy confronts in the day of disaster V.18; God enlarges enemy cages V.19; God is delighted in us, the enemy is disappointed at us V.19 David went ahead to tell us why God rescued, supported, enlarged and took delight in him in verses 20-28. On the list are righteousness, cleanness of hands, keeping the ways of the Lord, not backsliding, loving His Word and obeying them, keeping away from sin, faithfulness, blameless, purity, humility. If you can watch your life and consecrate yourself on the aforementioned qualities exhibited by David your prayers will not be hindered at all. For this week, pray the following prayer of Breakthroughs 1. Lord, grant me your help to advance against a troop (that health challenge, that financial challenge, that marital challenge, etc) verse 29 2. Lord, grant me your help to scale the wall that is standing in my way in 2015. Every wall of opposition to my peace and progress, I command in the name of Jesus, give way today! V.29 3. Lord, every wall of Jericho fall before me in Jesus’ name. V.29 4. Lord help me and carry me over the wall that is standing between me and my promise land this week in Jesus’ name. V. 29 5. I and my entire family members, church members, take refuge in You God, shield us from every strange arrow and stalkers in darkness throughout this year in Jesus’ name. V.30 6. Shield Nigeria from violence in the impending elections in Jesus’ name. V.30 7. Arm me and all mine with strength this year Lord, and also keep my way secured all through the year I pray. V.32 8. Make my feet strong and be able to climb the heights and remain there this year in Jesus’ name. . It sis my year of lifting and dancing to His glory. Amen. V.33 9. Train my hands for success this year. Anything and anyone I lay my hands upon be blessed this year. Anyone a pray for this year, let such prayers be answered. Amen. V.34 10. With your help, I will be great this week, this month and this year. V.35. Please read on, the prayer points are endless. Have a great week ahead in Jesus’ name.
