Week 3 - Faith Matters For Aug. 16, 2014 at HopeSide Community Church Right Attitudes Needed 2 Timothy 2:21 by Elder Ner Lirazan The third week of any month is focused on Faith Matters. Here’s a quote to reflect on this theme: “We are twice armed if we fight with faith. ~Plato Bible Study and Prayer meeting is every Thursday between 8pm and 9pm in the Sanctuary of the Church. All are invited to a Fellowship Lunch that follows the Divine service this week. Though not required, you may be bring a vegetarian dish, dessert, fruits, or juices of your choice. Pr. Melvyn Hayden, the Senior Pastor of our sponsor church the 4th St. Friendship SDA Church and thus our group as well will conduct a visioning session right after lunch. All are invited to attend. All are invited to a mini retreat hosted by Dr. Ronald Cho at his residence on Saturday, August 23, 2014 beginning at 10am and ending at about 5pm. You may bring a food item for lunch. Special prayer requests: A very special prayer for complete healing is requested for Dr. Lazarus, Bro. Peters Aunt, Dhansid Lakra, Rose Bara, Than Than and the Besra family who is grieving the loss of Mr. Niranjan Besra this week.
