His story as we know it starts as Astro was found wandering & lost in Wimauma. His rescuers did all the right things hoping to find his owners, but sadly they did not and he was taken to the HCPRC. The rescuer, Dawn, kept her eye on him and when he wasnt chosen for adoption and ended up on The List, she adopted-to-rehome him. When he was found, Dawn wrote His nails are trimmed and his teeth are healthy - thus leading us to believe this guy is someones pet who is lost. He is very thin, hes about 15 pounds underweight. He had two very large ticks that were removed. The vet thinks he may be 4-5 years old and may be of shepherd, chow heritage. He doesnt have a microchip. He is friendly, knows sit, and takes treats gently. He also knows how to walk well on a leash, and is fine with getting a bath. Astro is a calm, sweet boy who will get healthy with YOUR help.
