Welcome to Rebel Thriver, my name is Ella and I run this joint. I feel that it is important from time to time for me to inform the newer members of this beautiful tribe a little about how I arrived here. You see I am a survivor of domestic violence and for many years it stole my life. I was in a very dark, lonely, confusing, and scary place. I couldnt go back in anyway, but I didnt know how to move forward. I started the Rebel Thriver blog as a way to express my thoughts, help others, and hopefully make some human connections. Domestic violence shattered my world and left me incredibly isolated and untrusting. When I started this page I was amazed at how fast it grew! I have come to really love it here and all of you who join me with your beautiful comments and thoughts. It really is so much more than a FB page...it is a community, a family, a tribe. You are all welcome to participate and join in the conversation. Together we are stronger and I have found that every little bit helps in this life. The best advice I can give you is to NEVER give up, hang onto hope, believe and get out of your own way. You are so much more powerful than you realize, but you may need to take some time to dig deep and find some wise counsel to help you along. No one can do it alone.
