Well - last day of Winter today, and what a lovely day it was too. All the birds in the Quarter were certainly out in force........ Young Bruce (our resident pigeon), was there to let us know that the corn supply was diminishing, and Maggie and Maurice (the Magpies) have started to let us know their culinary preferences (Bread, thank you, none of that grain stuff!!!), and of course there is also the Kurrawong family - unfortunately Mr Kurrawong is still a little sloppy on his nest building abilities (he is valiantly trying to put a nest together in the Fig Tree from twigs and stuff - but it just does not seem to be working for him), but he is rather partial to the odd chocolate wheaten............ Oh yes - Spring has Sprung in the Quarter..............
