Well Autumns new tube is in & doing well. It was a smooth process today & as usual they treated us very well. However, now we are back to fighting the issues with labs for Autumn. We just got her STAT labs back & they look a lot worse from last week & Monday. The dr called me right away & wants her admitted today. I told him I can not do that bc of my husband being gone until Tues & he said that he was willing to make some minor adjustments to her TPN & do STAT labs Monday morning. He said if those labs come back looking bad he will have her admitted then & I agreed to that. I really hate taking her to the hospital bc she declines every time we go but on the other hand she has not woken up for any period of time since Tuesday & is declining here at home as well. I just pray this will be a quick hospital visit & not drawn out. I also spoke with the Pulmonary doctor. She feels this is not really pulmonary related even though the chest x ray didnt look good on monday but feels its more of her GI, electrolytes, & mito related. Im just so sad I feel like every time I see that light at the end of the tunnel someone blows the damn candle out!
