Well I counted the days on the calendar not once not twice but - TopicsExpress

Well I counted the days on the calendar not once not twice but three times and I came up with the same results, there is 81 days left of school this year. This is with all the days we have to make up and all of the days Monongalia county schools will operate on a regular scheduled school day. This past month has wreaked havoc on our school system as a whole , the girls scouts were selling cookies but no school, so sales to teachers cooks and other staff. Jesse ordered his though before all this time off happened. We had a lot of snow here in the Morgantown and surrounding areas, we still have several inches in our yard and on our roads and guess what I saw on TV today? Snow is on the way again and we are right in the way of this one again. So any predictions on school in the coming weeks? I say lets have some snow days this year because we will have more time next year to make them up.... Remember the following families in your prayers this week as they loss loved ones that went on to their eternal rewards of a home in heaven, The Barills , the Hagedorns, the Stevenss and the Lipscomb families. God sees their pain and their grief, he is there guiding them along this journey in their lives. Please remember the families that lost everything they owned due to fire this week, the ones on Dug hill road and the many many families that were struck by the losses due to the fire in Westover. Pray for the firemen that were injured and the five that were injured in the apartment house fire. Just a quick note on myself, although I have some pain I am just fine. I will not miss work due to not knowing Im suppose to wear a coat and not slide on one , so yes I will be at work on Monday. Back to be a pain and being in pain. Lol. Thanks to Mrs. Martin and the cooks for being on the ball and keeping me entertained for my time on the floor. Thanks to the teachers that was there and even to Mrs. Barnes who thought she should sweep me away with my own broom. Lol. Also thanks to all you teachers staff and the principles who checked on me throughout the day to make sure I was alright. Yes and Mrs. Martin deserves the credit for my visit to urgent care and then the emergency room where I was evaluated and given the OK to return to work on Monday. Oogie oogie I dont need but the offer was(not) needed in my down time. Thanks anyways Josh. You all had me laughing and they say laughter is the best medicine. So I will just say with me around there is never a DULL moment at work. Thanks to every one that was there for me. We still have a lot of snow all around the school which also means ice so children please be careful as your walking playing or going to classes, dont want any one of you falling down. We have taken action to eliminate all the ice etc. on the walkways by spreading lots of salt down, but with the temperatures being so low it takes time for the salt to do its job. 81 days 81 days 81 days 81 days 81 days 81 days. Oops I got lost in thought and look my tablet decided to announce on its own that we have 81 full scheduled work school days left in the 2013-2014 school year. Let me mention that Mrs. Culpepper was sporting a new dew with her hair all curly and looking nice, Ms Debbie Burns had 2 cute hats that shes been wearing this week. Both the dew and the hats were the best. So as always let the light of the lord shine through in everything you do. Teach your children to pray and not really for any more snow days. Give praise and have a great week. Until next week God bless.
