Well, I saw the final Hobbit. While I did enjoy the movie, once again the movie industry tarnished my most beloved books with a film that felt like I was watching a video game. Even with inclusion of some of the material from the LOTR appendixes I couldnt help but smell the stench of hollywood franchise with the way the hobbit was stretched out. None-stop, over-the-top action left me bored and annoyed at some of the inconsistencies. For a moment I thought I was watching Dune with the weird burrowing sand worm things. This is Middle-Earth not Arrakis!!!! Why not stick to the book? You cant go wrong there. So I hope you all enjoyed last bite of the McHobbit. Like eating a Big Mac, it left me bloated and ashamed that I enjoyed it a bit.
