Well, I should probably update everyone about my recent surgery. I am very thankful they were able to remove my left kidney laproscopically. The surgery was successful, I am now cancer free and it is unlikely to return. It is a great relief. I want to let all of you who have been praying for Mary and I. I have always tried to keep in mind that this has been, in some ways, even more frightening for Mary. I approach this year with thankfulness in my heart. I really appreciate Dr Robert Wayment and all of the nurses in the surgical unit at Mckay Dee Hospital. They were fantastic. Mary has been the best of all of them. She has given me attentive care, support, and has helped in transporting my Mom to a new location during this time. She has visited my Mom almost daily, which has given me the peace of mind I needed to heal. It is no wonder I love her so. I would also like to thank Lucy, who was at my side for the 2.5 days in the hospital. She was so positive, supportive and helpful. I appreciate all she did. I also appreciate the the head nurses they were great. Here is a picture of me leaving the hospital being helped by Lucy. Thanks to you all.
