Well, I thought it would take a month or two to get back to lifting 45 lb dumbbells on flat bench press, but NOPE! Its only week number two after not working intensely or consistently out for 4 months, and Im already back to 40 lbs! It dawned on me tonight at the gym that bodybuilding (physique category) has PERMANENTLY altered my physique. I will never be a thin aerobics instructor stringy-muscled person again. Im either gonna be muscular with flab over top, or muscular and ripped. That base level of muscle doesnt go away, even if I starve myself or eat all jacked up. Thats it. These shoulders are wide, and these legs are big. Ive sort of created a monster now, because I have to eat 7 times a day now to stay lean! The less I eat, the flabbier I get! And eating all that food is EXPENSIVE and makes my jaws hurt! So, all it takes is to eat a LOT and pump a few weights, and Im back in the game....but the problem now is that if I DONT eat a lot, I get flabby! REALLY? LOL
