Well I was truly hoping this day would not arrive. I had great hopes that we would avoid it altogether this time. But, that was not to be. This morning my typically sweet two year old turned into a monster when in an extreme fit of rage her sin nature came bursting forth. Chris and I have a strict no negotiations with tantrums policy (tantrums being defined as a fit of rage initiated by not getting their way). If any of our children commense in throwing a tantrum whatever it is they want is instantly lost. We want them to learn that tantrums always result in loss, never in victory. So, it seems the battle of wills with our youngest (and previously sweetest) child have begun. I know there will be days that we will be late, days we will miss out on things, and days that will end in tears. The battle is hard, but much easier fought with a two year old than a ten year old. So we will fight, and we will win, because they are worth it.
