Well, Im more in debt now lol, but I have new wheels. When we took the camper out for a shakedown, the van just wasnt cutting it power-wise. For example, practically had the accelerator floored, and the tranny got to 220 degrees and only went into over drive 2 or 3 times in the short 25 mile stretch that we had to pull the camper. So... I found a truck and was able to get financing. Its a 2004 GMC Sierra 3500 (one ton) SLT 4x4, 6.6L Duramax diesel, 4 speed Allison transmission. 121,158 miles; not bad for a diesel. Power seats, windows, mirrors, etc. Heated leather seats, Bose premium sound system w/6 disc player, security system monitored locally and via satellite, sprayed on bed liner, and two 12-volt batteries. It has a tow package and a retractable 5th wheel connector. And man-oh-man does it have the POWER!! I kicked it in at 70 mph and was at 80 mph in no time flat! Seems to have been well taken care of, and I expect to have it for a few more hundred thousand miles. Wont be any problem towing the camper NOW ;).
