Well Steven Breese did his coach Pete Castell of Go Judo and us proud today with a hard fought green belt comp where he had 2 ippon wins (throws to those who dont know!) and narrowly lost the semi final to a more experienced player but it went right to the end of time and Steven made him fight for it. Thanks also to Sue-Alan Jones of AJ Judo & Wrestling for their unwavering support and development of Steven over the years as well. He came away with a bronze but probably one of the more satisfying as he went up a gear today and showed determination, great skill and he is now thinking on his feet about what he is doing during a fight. Check out his first ippon win in about 10 seconds, note the BOOM on the mat and the other player bouncing!!! and no feet either just with his hands..... Well done Stevo very proud of you (Steven in white belt btw)
