Well as our date night concludes with a bit of calling up a old doe to show Stacy Lynn Spurr Stewart that they really get that close to me when calling a coyote, I start thinking again. usaully its a bad thing but oh well. I get ask alot about how you get into your kinda work? Do people really pay you to hunt? How come I cant do that? Well im in the mood to talk about it a little. The answer is Yes I am a paid full time private wildlife control agent. I also guide hunters for deer, pigs and I teach wildlife control techniques to very select people. Control work is way different than just trapping a animal for fur. You go after coyotes or beaver in the summer like you do in fur season you can expect 1 thing for sure, FAILURE!!!! I know guys that are way better than me in the winter. The day it hits 90* here they wonder what happend? They then pack up and go fishing. I dont have that luxury. I am paid to produce period!!!!!!!! Its hot, cold, wet, rain, snow, sleet, sick, hurt, not in the mood, unmotivated, whatever the case maybe. I must produce or my clients will find another. This aint well I tried, or good try guys maybe next time. They have faith in me to take care of a problem, just like plumbers, electricians, dr, or lawyer. They are paying for results, not excuses. So what is the difference? The difference is I am devoted to this job. Devotion that takes presidence above all else. When you live your job in every part of your life, every thought is about being better or solving a problem faster, better, more complete.I made up my mind several years ago that this is what I wanted to be, Once you make up your mind on something and decide thats what you want and you devoted to it, you can do it. It all amounts to refusing to fail. Now i know thats a great saying like Nike just do it. Refusing to fail is way different, you cant beat someone that wont quit, refusing to fail is a mindset. Once i studied the big guys in this business, took instructions from the best, applied what i learned, studied business techniques, Worked like a dog unrelenting day and night, sleep was out of the question. I called coyotes and ran traps with gout flair ups that i used crutches. Dr pulls a chest tube out of me and 2 days later im back at the deer pens killing coyotes and had to get my brother to skin for me. So in closing this rant, I just wanna tell anyone our there if you really want somethnig, i mean it is what you want and you can see it go get it. I dont mean some cheesy commercail saying, What im telling you is get your club and go hunting cave man style.If you want it apply yourself. study, take instructions, and above all REFUSE TO FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!
