Well, before start, I would like to introduce my self, I am an overseas trained doctor from Mexico, I did a 3 years course in the speciality of ear nose and throat and then because some personal situations and because of the sadly violent environment in my country I decided to move on to Australia, so here I am, I have been living here for 7 months and I am doing all the process of recognition of my skills. The first two goals to achieve in this process, it doesnt matter if you are a general practitioner or a specialist, are 1) Demonstrate profiency in English and 2) Sit your AMC MCQ exam Today I will focus my attention in the description of the English profiency. To demostrate profiency in English you can choose two different exams: a) IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with more than 7.0 in each band in the Academic English or b)OET (Ocuppational English Test) with more than B en each band.
