Well coach is kicking things up a notch. Purchasing pull bouys, paddles and fins today. Taking our swimming to the next level. Yesterday we did one of our favorite local races. A challenging scenic 7.5 mile run in Cornwall, NY. I did it in an hour. Certainly not my best but considering how much Ive ran since Louisville no real complaints. You get out what you put in. Plain and simple. Legs are little sore. Looking forward to my swim later. I have picked up the pace since Progressive Power Training classes have begun. Started to get back into a routine and religiously following my coaches plan. Feels good. I am ready to bring it! I know I am capable of so much more than I have shown. Not sure if other people see the potential but I know. ; ) Just have to let that little flame build and build itself into a little fire that no one can put out. Race day I will unleash it and let it will spread like a wild fire. I have this envision in my head. Now to make it go happen. My favorite words straight from my lovers mouth DONT TALK ABOUT, BE ABOUT IT! This coming year for me is about pushing myself outside of my comfort zones. Without it there can be no change or progression. Our favorite source of hydration for our bike classes is Skratch Labs. We just ordered a supply of Skratch Labs Hydration Mix that will hopefully last till the new year. Excited that Skratch came out with a new mix: skratchlabs/collections/drinks/products/hyper-hydration-mix Curious to see if this something we can implement towards our strenuous Ironman training or on a long race day. Looking forward to training this weekend. Bike class with a 5.2 mi run afterwards on Sat and a 12 mi run Sun. 320 days. Time is already beginning to fly. (Seems like just the other day the countdown was well over a year.) Happy training everyone!!!
