Well cool.. When I was younger, I was at the park out back, and a guy was shooting model rockets up in the air all afternoon.. He ended up losing the biggest one, and told me that if I found it, to call him. Days later, I found it in the woods, about 40ft up a tree.. I got it down, called him, and he stopped back over.. Not to get it though.. He had a huge box of even more model rocket gear, and gave it all to me.. I had such a blast building those things, and firing them off.. Of course most of them got lost too, and after that, I called him back, and gave him back what was left of the gear.. Ill always remember that.. He showed me how cool people can be that are into a certain hobby.. And years later, Im back into cruising crafts around in the air.. About 45 minutes ago, I heard some people outside.. Then I heard my dad ask about a lost-craft.. I headed out to see what was going on.. My neighbor up the street and his parents were at the park, and they were firing his first ever rockets.. Two of them.. Today is also one of the windiest days weve had all season.. Again, the wind won, and took the rockets for a wild ride.. We all went out looking for them, wandering in all directions.. After a while everyone sort of gave up for the time being.. I kept looking.. I wandered around the front of the park, up the sidewalk, and across the street.. According to the wind direction, the rockets should have headed that way.. Luckily, Im farsighted.. I spotted one at the brick factory across the street.. Barbed wire fencing, so no hopping over that thing.. A while later, I had his rocket saved, they swung back around, and its now back in his hands! 1 down - 1 to go!
