Well docs appointment went ok... He is keeping me on the metformin for at least another 3 weeks and wants me to keep a my bs readings to determine if I need to add another med to help it work better or switch to insulin he upped my neurotin for the neuropathy and put me on Prozac for the anxiety also got my butt chewed for not eating enough because I have put myself in starvation mode which is why I havent lost any weight this past week... He was very thorough and explained everything in detail which no one has done since I was diagnosed 8 yrs ago... Glad that someone finally put it out there for me to see just how important getting it under control really is because an 8.4 A1C is out of control!!!
