Well guys, this is it. The big one. The absolute final day on my Top 12 Favorite Christmas Songs Countdown. My #1 favorite Christmas song of All Time is.... 1.Welcome Christmas from How the Grinch Stole Stole Christmas Music by Albert Hague, Lyrics by Dr. Seuss Part 1:https://youtube/watch?v=IbzQJnke89Y Part 2:https://youtube/watch?v=g9F-GPIEap4 This list has been pretty tough at first since I only thought about it at the last minute. But for the most part, I am very happy with the placement of these songs. I suppose you might consider this list my Christmas gift to you. The universal gift of music, music that makes us all cozy during this time of year. Reinvigorating life to old versions of timeless classics, making way for the new versions to join the legacy. Even shedding new light to songs that are typically overlooked. In other words, the meaning of Christmas in a nutshell. Yeah, when you think about it, we all have that little secret place for music in our heart, mind, and soul, even when we think we dont care for music. Well, whether you like music or not, theres no way of escaping it no matter what you do. Music has always been here, just the same way as an emotion has. Just like the Grinch when he tried to steal Christmas, even though the Grinch took everything from Who-ville, the Whos still sang. it didnt matter that theyve been robbed because to them, its still Christmas. And also, who says old people are lame. You know Ian McKellen? Gandalf? Hes friggin awesome! And Jon Voight? He was a famous Hollywood star back in the 60s-80s, and Angelina Jolies dad. And lets not even forget S-A-N-T-A........ And Angelina Jolie? What is it that inspired her to become an actress? Maybe it was her dad? Or some other famous older person? I dont really know? But bottom line, we all need to look up to our elders, for they are the ones who guided us before we set out on our own to pass on and expand the teachings of our elders. And also there are many unfortunate people who are overlooked, if you get my drift. Probably more now than ever. Sure the songs you usually hear are nice, but there are songs, like my #3 pick, that should need a bit more recognition, because they have so much more to say. Thats basically the meaning of my first paragraph there, so Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah, have a Happy New Year, and a Merry Merry Merry Birthday to ME! (sorry, I couldnt resist) HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!
