Well, it has been a bitter/sweet Sunday. We all went to church and this will be the last before Ric leaves again. He will fly out of Dothan tomorrow for Boone, NC. He will train there for about 10 days with the Graham Crusades and then fly to South Sudan and work in that mission field for a year. During that time, he will live in a tent in the bush. Can you imagine camping for an entire year? I know that I am prejudice, but this is really dedicated to doing GODs work. He will have a fit if he reads this, but I have to say it. He was disappointed in the church that he was raised in. He was asked to speak by several area churches while home, but not by his home church. But most of all, because the home church did not even offer up a prayer today for his safe keeping, safe travel, or GODs speed. Sorry folks, but this hurt my whole family but especially my son. I ask that my friends on Face Book remember him in your prayers now and in the future. Daddy cant protect him in Africa, only GOD. I feel that GOD will protect him and bring him home safe and sound, but a parent still worries. Have a good night and remember to SMILE.
