Well lets talk about life and death. We dont know when we came, we dont know when were leaving. Nobody is promised another second. Therez no escaping from the death. Every soul will have to taste it. So whats then the purpose of our stay here on earth? Is it just to get education..... then work, buy things, consume ..... work, buy things, consume .... and then die and thats it? Is this world purposeless? So as Allah, the gracious, the merciful says: • Did you think that We had created you in jest (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us (for account)? (Quran 23:115) Whats the purpose? God tells mankind in the Quran that the life of this world is a test, a test to see “which of you is best in conduct”. • He Who created death and life to test which of you is best in conduct. He is the Almighty, the Ever-Forgiving. (Quran 67:2) • Every soul will taste death. We test you with both good and evil as a trial. And unto Us ye will be returned. (Quran 21:35) God further says that each soul would be repaid in full for whatever it has earned in this earthly sojourn. • We shall set up scales of justice for the Day of Judgment, so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least, and if there be (no more than) the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it (to account): and enough are We to take account. (Quran 21:47) • Then, on that Day, not a soul will be wronged in the least, and ye shall but be repaid the meeds of your past Deeds. (Quran 36:54) • On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). Then shall anyone who has done an atoms weight of good, see it! And anyone who has done an atoms weight of evil, shall see it. (Quran 99:6-8)
