Well... made a couple calls to Comcast again... service kept going off and on.... was out most of the night, they are pretty sure it is the modem so they are sending a new one. Around 9:30.. it suddenly came back on - even the phone (which has been out for 4 days)...... not holding my breath it will last, they are going to give me credit for the whole time it was off/acting up and during the time we are waiting for the new modem.
