Well my day is done and what a fantastic one it was! Got beaten by the Korean who won last years Korea open. It was close-ish with the score at 0-5 in the final quarter but I went a little crazy and ran into a head kick in the last 20 seconds. So final score was 0-8. She was taller than me, which is crazy for the -49kg division. Positives were even though I had all that drama with my coach Danny Crkvencic about thinking I couldnt do backswing kick... I did 3. Granted they werent thrown at the correct time lol. Downside, I got a little overwhelmed. The Korean ended up loosing golden point to the Silver world championship medalist from Jordan, it was a hell of a fight the Korean was ahead for most of it. Thank you Jesús Ramal, Suvi Mikkonen, Rosa Rodriguez Torres and Allan Malachowski for helping me prepare and being such an awesome support team. I was lucky to get the side of the draw I did against some of best! Lets hope I can fight these guys again soon!
