Well my friends, we gave it hell but as always, the rich guys always win! I am heart-broken to announce that ROCKERS of ST. CHARLES has closed its doors! I want to sincerely thank all of you, and you are many, that came out and spent a few dollars, and enjoyed the ambiance and the music AND SUPPORTED us! I want to thank all of the bands that sweated out their talents and energies to make it work! I want to thank all of the bands that were still standing in line waiting to play here, and I want to sincerely apologize to the bands who were booked and now have holes in their calendars! I want to thank our bartenders and waitresses, barbacks and security and my partner Rich, who was already retired and living the good life when all of this came up and drained his bank account too! Terry and I are debating and researching moving Rockers to a more affordable area in St. Charles. We believe that the GREAT musicians of St. Louis Metro deserve places to show their talents as much as fans of LIVE music deserve a place to enjoy bands! Stay tuned, we will do our best and I know we can count on you!
