Well my quest to find some part time work came to a rather abrupt halt yesterday , when the avenues I was looking at seem to be bearing no fruit at all & i hit a total & rather disillusioning brick wall ,& subtle ageism is alive & well in the employment world thats for sure , despite being illegal here & thru out the EU . That said , a very fruitful phone call to an old & close friend of mine in Hong King ( god bless Viber ) , has given me a new lease of life with this task ,& spheres that were so obvious but that I hadnt even considered have opened up many new avenues to explore . Looking now from the point of view of finding something which expresses me & my interests for once ,as opposed to going out to work as a means to an end, which is what I have basically done all my life . Onwards & upwards, watch this space. !!
