Well my two week jaunt to Mumbai, India is now over - guess the country couldnt take me and Barrack (as in President Obama) there together. He arrives tomorrow, I left yesterday!! I must admit, in addition to gaining a beautiful, wonderful, sweet new daughter-in-law, I also gained a whole new family!! Dr. & Mrs. Ashok Dewan ( my daughter-in-laws parents) where such wonderful hosts AND such great folks, making my familys visit so enjoyable. I truly thank them for being so nice to us. The rest of Shalaka Dewans family were equally as gracious. Just to give you an example, the night we left Mumbai, at approximately 10:30pm inside this vast, beautiful new airport, this guys walks up to me and says Barry?. Well it was someone I had just met several days ago at the wedding. He explained he was Shalakas cousin and proceeded to tell us he was an executive at Chatrapati Shivaj International Airport in Mumbai and spent the next hour or so giving us an exclusive tour of this gorgeous new airport and making sure we got to where we needed to be. All of Shalakas relatives treated us so nice!! Thank you all! Im sure Paul Finn & Shalaka will be posting many more pics over the next several days. I will post below just a very brief example of the contrast for me over the past 36 hours. Let me start with this photo showing our enjoyment at a beach in Mumbai on Wednesday. By the way, it was sunny and 87 degrees. The next two pictures are of my welcome back several days later with a temperature of 27 degrees. finally to the Dewan family - thank you, thank you and thank you again! Loved my experience!!
