Well not sure i am going to make it to my reunion after all .... Just cant afford the $300.00 it would cost for the event ( not fees for event but the Gasoline , motel for 2 , food for 2 , and other basics of the 2 day visit to my home town ) It is 40 years since i graduated From Milton area Sr High school and this is the second reunion I received an invitation to . and because of this economy i have to chose between keeping my storage/shop for the future business or go to reunion and renew old friendships with people i have not seen in 40 years....... it is sad but i believe i must look to my potential future and keep the storage,and pray that in the next 5 years our class does not lose any more of the people i grew up with ... it is really a bummer. It really stinks being out of work for 4 years this February, and With all my skills I should be rollin in the dough but our awesome POTUS has seen fit to micromanage the USA into a third world country . Jobs Disappear with the new jobs almost all requiring specialized certifications or advanced college degrees in their specific field.I should not have to return to school and rack up 20 to 30 thousand dollars in debt every time i change a job to improve my life if i already have skills withing the field. a mentoring program like the apprenticeships of times from biblical till the 1980s is what is needed and what will produce men and woman that truly seek to surpass the skills of their teachers. That is what education is about ;not getting a safe serve certification to prepare you as a counter worker at McDonalds as your career. It is sad that we will with common core curriculum produce a society centered in socially biased, politically motivated education centered on each person being directed into a pre-planned niche that they will be cultivated for and their lives will be manipulated to either keep them poor and on the mercy of a corrupt government which will control their every thought , or for the ones too smart to fall for it , force them into impoverishment through outrageous expenses for a College education that focuses on indoctrination of the person into the same kind of life . After all the Job Market changes every year as people come out of college in the major that had huge need for people when they entered school and now has massive overflow of stafing thus dropping wages and requiring a second or third degree . Yes i sound stupid. Maybe i am a fool and should have been relegated to some job dumping trash cans or sweeping streets .Hell i would welcome such a job. but i guess i would need a degree . I blame this on myself however for only I made the choices i made in my life and only i will pay for them . This is what taking responsibility is all about. Not pawning it off on others who may have been part of the the picture but were under my guidance . well i guess i shall go look at the want add for today ...$400.00 sign on bonus call xxx-xxx-xxxx no experiance needed join the few people who can make a career with our 100 year old company no cold calls ,make over $800.00 a week if you are good.(not stated ) sell kirby vaccuum cleaners door to door all leads for the first week telemarketed for you after first week you are on your own , and remember if an order is canceled you lose your commission even after several months . well guess i figure out another way and do not suggest welfare or social security disability as i am not eligable for any gov. handouts at all .
