Well, now I can tell you the news about Lot 2540 in Madison, a great local ministry. First and foremost, they are NOT closing. They are going to move, due to a change in their lease. The new location will remain in western Rockingham County, but the final selection has not been announced. This will be forthcoming within the next couple of weeks. They are also beginning to prepare for the move. This will require a great deal of assistance and packing is taking place now. If you can volunteer any time to go by and help to pack, it would be a blessing. They also need boxes, packing tape, wooden pallets, the use of a fork lift, carpenters to reset walls in the new building, commercial kitchen components, and most of all ~ your prayers. They will of course be closed for a few days to make the move, therefore a loss of operating funds will occur. Rock the Lot is being held to help to fill this gap. I am inviting you to attend this day of music and entertainment at the Lots present location on April 26th at 4:00. It will be free to all, but would greatly appreciate donations. Also, if you want to donate cups, plates, food for this, it will all be used to raise money to serve this community. I was able to meet a lady who was living in a tent and now has a rental home thanks to the work of the Lot 2540 family. This is powerful and needs our support. Make it a point to stop by in the next week or so and offer some help. If you are on my friends list, I know that you would be more than happy to help someone!
