Well, over the last couple of days I have joined two forums that connect intended parents and surrogates. We figure youve got to be in it to win it. I must say it feels better to have something proactive simmering away. Its been really nice to chat to other people with similar experiences, doesnt feel as isolated. The profile info that we listed is - Hi, My husband Matthew and I are seeking a surrogate to assist us in adding to our family. We currently have two lovely boys 10 & 12. We are committed to a gentle, continuum parenting style. Matthew is experiencing primary infertility due to fragmented sperm DNA and I am experiencing secondary infertility due to being made peri-menopausal at 36 by a gamut of fertility treatment. Our last attempt to conceive was with donor embryos in Athens, Greece (like Mary Coustas , actor). Unfortunately this was unsuccessful. I have a very reactive auto immune system and it is unlikely that I will conceive successfully at this point. I have experienced four miscarriages while attempting to conceive. We have four embryos waiting for us in Athens and would love to find a surrogate that would either like a trip to Athens with us to attempt a pregnancy with our embryos or would be prepared to donate eggs and use donor sperm locally. Matthew is an Intensive Care Paramedic and I am a Special Education Teacher. We are sure of our ability to provide a secure, safe, happy home for more children.
