Well, since I am the official grinch minus the green skin and as the season of deceit and exploitation dawns upon us I just want to beg all the Santa worshippers to remember to tell their children the so-called reason for the season; which according to tradition is suppose to be Jesus, although it appears to be which parent buys the best gifts, how santa gets to Cayman with reindeer, the best smelling pine tree and how many lights your roof can hold etc... wouldnt I love to be on a deserted island for the duration of this holiday... the santa hats are irritating me already and the commercialization of my wonderful Jesus birth (in the wrong month may I add) is a double wammy, the agony! Apparently I am a bad mom for not allowing my children the benefit of believing in Santa... seriously? Sooo I am suppose to lie to them and tell them that this fat dude in the red suit is real, has an operation happening in the North Pole and brings the gifts that the good Lord gave me a job to get the money to pay for and wrap? I na tink so bobo! So, santa doesnt exist, CHRISTmas is a holiday emphasized for the sake of the business bottom-line, the green tree turns brown by January, the lights run up my electricity bill and the santa hats are annoying. Jesus didnt ask for a birthday party, we fail at the simple things he did ask us to do but yet we want to celebrate His birth from October to January.... mess we in
