Well that was an interesting travel day......forgot the cell phone, and sure enough after leaving Iroquois Falls to Cochrane, after my first appointment.....the rental Jeep Compass was not handling well....little unnerving going down that big hill at Jacobs Hill Road....so pulled over....rear passenger tire flat as a pancake.....turned back into town heading to closest gas station....air hose broken, so was directed to Petro Can on other side of town..definitely on the rim by this time.....fantastic staff there ... the worker came out and filled it for me and said yup I hear a leak.....so went in talked to to the mechanic and he said he could fix it...I told him it was rental and I should probably call Roadside Assistance, which I did, with their phone ;)......ok got through that leaving the gas station as the contact #....waited..waited...got summoned to the phone...the prospective responder for roadside assistance said all he could do was put on the spare....I told him that I had to travel to Kap...he said he wouldnt...I said no kidding!....so the nice mechanic at Petro Can brought it in and fixed it....good to go! Although it set me back quite a bit....Im safe and sound....and met some amazing people today!
